PROJECT COORDINATION

The Institute for Cultural Programs coordinates and promotes local and international projects aimed at strengthening the role of arts and culture in the economic development of St. Petersburg. The Institute also takes an active role in advancing projects related to the 300 year anniversary of St. Petersburg. The goal of these projects is to use the upcoming jubilee for marketing the city and drawing international attention to St. Petersburg.

"Arts Management Towards the Year 2003 - A Training Program for Arts Institutions in St. Petersburg" in cooperation with the Helsinki Institute (Finland) and the Sibelius Academy (Finland)

Ongoing seminar "Living Culture" for St. Petersburg arts and culture organizations

International project "Literature Express - 2000" in cooperation with the LiteraturWERKstatt (Berlin)

Preparation of the St. Petersburg section to the 6th International Council for Central and East European Studies World Congress in Tampere, Finland (year 2000), in cooperation with the European University in St. Petersburg.

Information support for the expert team on tourism of the Tacis program "Enhancing Synergy: Integration of Strategic Policies of the City of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Oblast in the context of the Northwest region of Russia"
